The Power Of 10
In the “Study” section, we learned
about the Power of the System; that
the System is the Solution to Washington seizing
control over nearly every aspect of Americans’ daily lives,
overspending by trillions of dollars a year, and enslaving
our children in debt.
With all we face, maybe you’ve thought, “Somebody ought
to do something about this.” Or maybe you’ve wondered, “What
can I do?”
We also learned that YOU plus 10 other people can have a
real, meaningful impact on who is elected to be your state
representatives and over whether he or she will stand at
“the constitutional line” as the indispensible external
check to an out-of-control federal government. The
Power of 10!
We learned that our state legislatures are duty-bound under
the Constitution to:
- Be the “sure guardians of the people's liberty.” (James Madison)
- Prevent the federal government “from overpassing their
constitutional limits.” (Alexander Hamilton)
- “Erect barriers at the constitutional line as cannot be surmounted
either by themselves or by the General Government.” (Thomas Jefferson)
- “Jealously and closely watch the [federal] government, and be able
to resist . . . every assumption of power, [better] than any other power
on earth can do.” (James Madison)
This important step really is as simple as ...
reaching out to family members, friends and neighbors who are concerned
about “the kind of world we are leaving to our children.” Share with them
